I'm Lucas — a quiet observer of form, light, and rhythm. I work across image, type, and the web, letting disciplines overlap. My process is slow on purpose: watch, reduce, refine. I collect fragments, studies, errors, small discoveries.
My career journey
My work is a meditation on simplicity and nuance. I seek to create experiences that are both functional and poetic, where every detail matters. Through careful observation and thoughtful design, I aim to craft moments that resonate deeply with users.
Early in my career, I did work at an insurance startup and designed sites for a small LA-based firm before the dot com bust. I spent the early part of my design career at ad agencies building websites and creating microsites in Flash.
